Volume has built many dedicated operations with customers and can assign drivers, tractors, and trailers solely to your freight.

Volume has the ability to get your loads sent by rail providing a low-cost means of shipping.

How much will I get paid per mile?
Volume pays a competitive rate based on driver experience and years of service within Volume. To get an up to date mileage rate quote you can call Volume’s recruiting at 1-800-895-5565 ext. 212.

What type of equipment will I be driving?
Volume has made an ongoing effort to keep its fleet up to date with the latest tractors possible. Volume has accomplished this by rotating its old tractors out with new tractors every few years. The majority of Volume’s fleet is late-model Volvos, Peterbilts, and Freightliners.

Is the speed governed in the tractors I drive?
Yes. All Volume tractors speeds are set for 70+ M.P.H.

How often do I get paid?
Volume pays all its employees on a weekly basis.

What is Volume's operating area?
For city drivers, Volume operates within 150-mile radius of Atlanta. For over-the-road and owner-operators, Volume operates mainly in the southeast United States.

What type of sleepers does Volume's tractors have?
All of Volume tractors are condos.

Will my tractor be equipped with a satellite unit?
Yes. All of Volume's tractors are outfitted with satellites. In fact, Volume has even started to install all owner-operators’ tractors with satellite units.

Will I be assigned my own tractor or will I have to share one?
All Volume drivers are assigned their own tractor.

What is the working schedule for city drivers?
Volume city drivers generally work normal business hours Monday thru Friday.

Do I have to touch the freight?
98% of all Volume loads are no touch.

How does Volume's hiring process work?
If an applicant is deemed qualified for an available position in the organization, he/she will be given a brief interview over the phone. If all goes well with the phone interview, the applicant will be asked to come in for a formal interview with Upper Management. After the review process and examination of all candidates, the appropriate person will be chosen for the position. Overall, the hiring process is usually very quick, painless, and usually lasts know more than one hour.
